All our bedrooms and suites are dotted around Cartmel, within walking distance of L'Enclume and Rogan & Co. Each room is designed for comfort and is unique in character, retaining references to the historic surroundings and spotlighting local craftsmanship.
Umbel Restaurant Group was founded by Simon Rogan in 2002 with the opening of the acclaimed L'Enclume restaurant in Cartmel, Cumbria. Over the years we have grown to include, Rogan & Co & Aulis in Cartmel, Henrock in Windermere and Aulis in London. We boast 6 Michelin stars and are renowned for the quality and seasonality of our offer. We also have 16 rooms across Cartmel for our diners/guests to stay overnight.
We are now looking to recruit a receptionist on either a part time or full time basis to join our reception team based in Cartmel. The role will involve:
- Working with our reservations system
- Ensuring smooth check in and check out procedures
- Overseeing payments
- Delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
The role is based on the following hours
- Part Time - 27 hours (3 days) per week
- Full Time - 45 hours (5 days) per week
We are keen to hear from individuals with experience in similar environments, customer service is key as well as a sound understanding of reservations software systems.
